Tafukt Surf is a family-run camp in Imsouane, five minutes from the water. Two brothers coach, their mother cooks, and the Atlantic sets the timetable.
How Tafukt works
Tafukt means sun in Tamazight — and on this coast you get it almost every morning of the year.
Mhend and Mohamed grew up here and learned to surf the long right of Magic Bay, an ~800-metre point break that peels a few minutes from our door. Tafukt is their house, opened to the people who come to ride it.
So there is no reception desk and no schedule pinned to a wall. The tide decides when we paddle out, Aïcha decides when we eat, and the rest of the week shapes itself around those two.

How we do things

Five in the water, no more
Groups cap at five so a coach can actually watch you surf. It is most of the reason a week here moves you forward.

Coaching at your level
ISA-certified coaches who compete at home and abroad, matching the session to where you are rather than the other way round.

Food from the bled
Bread baked every morning, tajines simmered slow, mint tea poured high on the rooftop. You eat what we eat.

A house, not a hotel
Most of our guests arrive on their own and leave with a crew. Shared meals on the rooftop make that easy.
Where you will find us
We are in Imsouane bay, a fishing village on the Atlantic between Agadir and Essaouira. Magic Bay breaks a five-minute walk from the door, and fifteen-plus more spots line the coast down to Agadir — when the swell shifts, we chase it.
