What does a surf week in Imsouane cost?
Prices move with the season and with the room you take, so we keep the current figures in one place — the surf weeks page — instead of scattering numbers across the site that quietly go out of date. That page shows the rate for each week next to exactly what the package covers. If you find a price for Tafukt Surf somewhere else online, treat that page as the one to trust.
The part that never changes is the equipment. A board and a wetsuit are included in every lesson and every surf-week package, so nothing gets added to your bill for kit when you walk in the door.
What’s included when you book a week?
Coaching from our family-run team, in English, French, German or Arabic — whichever you’re most comfortable in.
A surfboard matched to your level and to the day: something wide and stable while you’re learning, something shorter once you’re linking turns down the point.
A wetsuit. A 3/2 covers most of the year here.
Surfing at whichever break is working. Magic Bay is the main wave, a long right-hand point that peels over sand for much of its length — which is why a first-timer and an experienced surfer can both have a good morning on it. Cathedral Point, on the exposed side of the headland, is more powerful and breaks over rock; whether you paddle out there is a call your coach makes on the day.
Room options and meal arrangements are set out per package on the surf weeks page, because they differ between weeks.
Lesson, surf week, or just rental?

Most people booking a full week are choosing the middle column: consecutive days in the water is what actually moves you from standing up to riding the wall of the wave.
What sits outside the package?
Flights, travel insurance and whatever you spend in the village are yours to arrange. Getting here is the other line to plan for: Agadir Al Massira (AGA) is about two hours south by road, Essaouira roughly 90 minutes north, and Marrakech 3.5 to 4 hours away.
Activities are the one thing we deliberately keep separate. Moroccan cooking, sandboarding, surf-skate, a day in Paradise Valley and a trip to the Agadir souk are all offered alongside the surfing, so you pick the ones you want rather than paying for a list you’ll only half use. They’re on the activities page.
If anything about a package reads unclearly, ask before you pay. We’d rather answer the same question twice than have you arrive expecting something different.
When should I come?
| Months | Swell | Water temp | How busy | Suits |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Sep-Nov | North-west swell arrives, consistent | Around 20-23°C, cooling into autumn | Building | All levels |
| Dec-Feb | Biggest and most consistent of the year | Around 17-20°C | Busiest | Confident surfers, though Magic Bay stays forgiving |
| Mar-Apr | Still consistent, easing off | Around 17-20°C, warming | Quieter than midwinter | All levels |
| May-Aug | Smallest of the year | Around 20-23°C | Calmest | Beginners and first-timers |
A 3/2 wetsuit works across all four rows, which is why one is included whenever you come.
Whatever month you pick, mornings are usually the cleanest — onshore wind tends to build after midday. Plan on early surfs and keep the afternoons loose for a second session, an activity, or nothing at all.
How does booking actually work?
Decide the format first: a full week, a handful of daily lessons, or kit only. Then check the surf weeks page for the dates you’re looking at and the rate attached to them. Send us your dates, how many of you there are and roughly where you’re at as a surfer, and we’ll confirm what’s free and walk you through what your week covers before you commit to anything.
Ready to price it up? Surf weeks has current rates and the full inclusion list for each package. If you only want a few sessions, start with lessons; if you’ve got your own coaching sorted and just need kit, rental covers boards and wetsuits by the day. And when the wind has gone onshore, activities is where the afternoons go.
